International Rugby tournament Cyprus 12-13th of June, 2010
Dear friends,
The national rugby 7s sides of: France, Portugal, Georgia, Germany, Cyprus, Croatia, Serbia, Greece, Israel and Malta are competing in the final stage of the European Rugby 7s championship at the Paphiakos Stadium in Paphos between the 12th and 13th of June 2010.
Matches will start at 10.00am each day and finish at 5.00pm. Please find attached a provisional timetable for the games. The tournament will be a great weekend of spectacular rugby. Entrance is only €5 per day.
The Nicosia Barbarians Rugby club would like to inform you that transport to and from Nicosia can be arranged for an approximate fee of €12 (depending on interest and availability). If interested please call us before Wednesday 9th of June on 99478348.

EUROPEAN 7s TOURNAMENT 12-13 JUNE PAPHOS
The national rugby 7s sides of: France, Portugal, Georgia, Germany, Cyprus, Croatia, Serbia, Greece, Israel and Malta are coming to our ‘Field of Dreams’. This field will be the Paphiakos Stadium in Paphos, the site of the Cyprus Rugby team’s previous successful internationals against Azerbaijan, and Bosnia. However, the Cyprus side will have a greater challenge competing for the finals in Moscow with some of the best rugby 7s sides in Europe coming to the Paphos tournament.
The tournament will take place on the 12th and 13th of June and promises to be a great weekend of spectacular rugby. Games start at 10.00am each day and finish at 5.00pm so bring refreshments to keep in the boot of the car. Only food and drink purchased from the kiosk may be consumed inside the stadium. Entrance is only €5 on each day (free entry for students)!

ΒΕΡΟΛΊΝΟ -
Το Εκτελεστικό Συμβούλιο της Διεθνής Ολυμπιακής Επιτροπής (ΔΟΕ) αποφάσισε (13 Αυγούστου 2009) να συστήσει το γκολφ και το ράγκμπι sevens (7ς) στο Ολυμπιακό πρόγραμμα για τους Ολυμπιακούς αγώνες του 2016. Τα δύο αθλήματα θα είναι επίσημα αθλήματα των Ολυμπιακών αγώνων με την έγκριση τους στη συνέλευση της ΔΟΕ στην Κοπεγχάγη στις Οκτωβρίου 2009.
Εάν εγκριθεί, το ράγκμπι θα κάνει την πρώτη εμφάνισή του ως Ολυμπιακό αγώνισμα μετά από τους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες του Παρισιού το 1924.

Εκ μέρους της τοπικής ομάδας Ράγκμπι της Λευκωσίας (Barbarians) θα ήθελα να σας πληροφορήσω ότι ενδιαφερόμαστε για πιθανή συνεργασία με χορηγούς.
Αναζητούμε χορηγούς για την νέα σεζόν στο τοπικό πρωτάθλημα της Κύπρου που αρχίζει το Σεπτέμβριο του 2009 και λήγει τέλος Μαρτίου 2010. Σημειώνεται ότι σε αντίστοιχη διοργάνωση που πραγματοποιείται κάθε χρόνο στην Πάφο από την τοπική ομάδα παρευρίσκονται άνω των 1500 φίλαθλων.
